Update: Here is the full Agenda for September 28, 2023 @ 6:00 PM Joint Special Session City Council and Planning & Zoning. Nothing new was discussed at this meeting, apparently it was misreported as a joint session. Methodist may be back on the agenda in the near future.
The Bellaire City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in a Joint Special Session (Workshop) to discuss development alternatives for the Houston Methodist Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. There are no appreciable changes in building size or the parking access off South Rice. Find the updated plan here.

Construction on the new Bellaire High school is complete. The original building was demolished during the week of July 13-17, 2021.
