Bellaire is a member of the The National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS) , a voluntary incentive program that recognizes and encourages community floodplain management activities that exceed the minimum NFIP requirement. The City of Bellaire may be eligible to receive funding for elevation grants from other entities on your behalf. If your home is or has been elevated you are ineligible for the program. This is a match program and would require funds of at least $30,000 from the homeowner.
