Harris County Flood Control District is proposing a system of large diameter tunnels, 80 to100 feet underground and 30 to 45 feet in diameter, to carry flood waters to Buffalo Bayou and the Ship Channel. The suggested location for these tunnels is below various bayous and watersheds in the County, including Brays Bayou.
