: We are excited to announce that improvements are being made to the pound! Unfortunately, the pound will be closed starting Friday, September 1, and we will have limited resources to house dogs during maintenance. If you find a dog in need during this time, we encourage you to contact a local rescue or shelter or call Bellaire PD for guidance at 713-668-0487. We will keep you posted when the Bellaire Pound is re-opened.

Note: The Bellaire pound will be updated and serve as a transfer station.  A new pound will be located off West Bellfort in Houston.
