2021 Election Results for Bellaire City Council

Election Update 12/12/2021: After a hard-fought race Brian Witt is the winner of the third open position on Bellaire City Council. The three new members include two former chairs of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Winfred Frazier and Ross Gordon.  Voter turnout in the runoff election was key, and Witt won by 193 votes with only 27% of eligible voters going to the polls.  Slightly more Bellaire voters, about 29%, voted in the November election.

November 2, 2021 – Election Results – Bellaire Mayor and City Council

Three Council seats were in play in the November election, and two were declared winners.  Two of a slate of three candidates, Winfred Frazier and Ross Gordon, will replace Neil Verma for Position 1 and Gus Pappas for Position 3.  Position 5 was a three-way race, with candidates Andrea Ehlers and Brian Witt moving to a runoff election.

Ms. Ehlers is running as an independent, Mr. Witt is running a part of a PAC backed slate of candidates.
