City Council 5-Year Priorities Plan – more non-specific plans to do good things for Bellaire. Look for euphemisms – sidewalks seem to have morphed into “safe mobility”. “Embrace development of commercial areas that is complementary of the City’s residential character”, maybe think apartments and condos, get rid of those old-fashioned businesses that have served residents for years but don’t have ‘eye appeal’.
No consideration of the application for rezoning 4301 Bellaire Blvd at this time.
Construction on the new Bellaire High school is complete. The original building was demolished during the week of July 13-17, 2021.
